Welcome!

Fever Dog was formed in June of 2005 with lead guitarist Derek Labosierre and bassist Sheldon Higgins as "The Sixty-Sevens". Drummer Steven Lemay, a known metal drummer was asked to join, making the Sixty Sevens a "power trio". The band didn't think they could pull it all off with the sub-par vocals, and the name "67s" seemed to plain. So, the Sevens brought in the lead guitarist from the Edmonton group "Divine Crisis", his highness, Jim Martin to sing and play rhythm guitar. Then it was time for a new name and after months of thinking, Derek referred to the movie "Almost Famous" and the Stillwater song "Fever Dog" and the rest was history.
